Marie G. Kulesza

For many years, Marie G. Kulesza, a certified public accountant and Assistant Professor of Business Administration,  audited municipalities, not-for-profit organizations and privately held corporations. “All the clients had one common concern,” she said, ” How can we be more efficient in our operations and how can you as the auditor help accomplish our goal?” She brings that same approach to her teaching. “I am there to assist students in accomplishing their individual goals.  Regardless of their major or prior knowledge of the subject, as an educator it is my responsibility to facilitate my students in their quest for knowledge and skills.”

A faculty member for one year, she enjoys teaching here.  “Saint Joseph College provides a strong sense of community. Students and faculty are encourage to participate in many activities outside of the classroom that enhance the college experience for the students. I enjoy being part of that process.”

And she wants students to see accounting in a better light.  “I know that accounting is not a favorite subject for many students, but my enthusiasm for the subject is contagious,” she said.
