John J. Brough, Jr.

 

John J. Brough, Jr. is the Director of Business Development for DiSanto, Priest
& Co. He has over thirty years of experience concentrating in taxation and
business advisory services for closely held companies and high net worth
individuals. Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV) by the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants, he has specialized in business valuations and
litigation support services for the past twenty-five years.

John has
also been an adjunct lecturer at Brown University and Bryant University and has
been a guest speaker/presenter for both the Rhode Island and American Bar
Associations. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island
with a concentration in accounting as well as a Masters of Science in Taxation
degree from Bryant University.

John is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Rhode Island Society of Certified
Public Accountants, and the Institute of Business Appraisers. He has been active
on numerous boards and is presently a member of the University of Rhode Island
College of Business Administration’s Advisory Council, a Trustee for the
University of Rhode Island Foundation, a member of the AICPA Forensic &
Litigation Services Committee, Board member for the New Leaders Project, past
Board member for the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants, past
Chair of the organization’s Business Valuation Committee and a past Vice
Chairman for the Town of South Kingstown Economic Development Committee.
